i had bought my self some red paint to spray my old car...then i end up byeing my self another car witch is white andi didnt want to spray mine red so i was stuck with red paint so dad bought the paint of me and desided to re spray the ute....

with the dust its not as windy and the carport is half in closed in as well with cover and every thing....yeah its looking real good now dads now put the flecks thought it looks heaps good will try and get up date photos as soon as i can...

still got a heap lot more to do....under the bonnet,door trims, cut back and polished....


so fare has had 4 coats of red, 3 coats of metallic and 2 coats of clear....

yeah it is a good job for a home job....dad pritty much a jack of all trades his real job is a cabinet maker....but yeah as i said he does alot more then that...yeah most people say it looks heaps better red...

only a nut would use 2pac and not use a booth, and by looking at it its not 2 pac, it looks like acrylic.

what he sould have done in the last few coats was add more thinners less paint and added in the clear and flow coat it would have been shiny off the gun

I've sprayed 2pac without a booth! and came up great,you just need the right hardener and a dust free environment aswell as a good gun.and know how to 'spray'... and i know what you mean about the last few coats!!
