trubut if you hang around and catch them you will be able to ask how its done
2 words of advice... 1 make sure there are no location holes behind the badge or they will need to be filled 2 use a heat gun to WARM up the badge, this will make the sticky easier to remove when pulling the badge off, you might even be able to do it with your fingers or a plastic spatula

pretty sure all the BA badges don't have pins behind them - best bet may be to call past a ford spares parts dept, ask to look at the badges you've got on the back, and see if they have any pins! i know the FALCON & FUTURA MkII ones i bought were just stick-on ones

Fraser, did the one that came off your EF have pins? I would quite like an AU2/3 Futura badge for my EL, but dont want to muck around with pin holes...

yeah it did - i managed to position the BA 'FUTURA MkII' badge to cover the holes - it lines up straight as well! i didn't have to bog them or anything - just took my time, and covered them completly

only the ford badge has holes behind it. Heat it up a bit with a hair dryer then run some fishing line behind the badge to unstick it from the car, then use metho to get the glue off the car.
instead of the hairdryer you could use hot water though. This way is the safest as you won't scratch your car. |

the fishing line sounds like a top idea, sounds like you have done this before?
