If they've been left on for a while, a good cut-and-polish product should to the trick.

If it has gone hard, all you can really do is clean it normally.. If it doesn't go away, use clay.

maybe you will need to just clean em out and get a detailer in to match them up then keep it clean from "now on"

I recommend "Meguiars- X Scratch" on the offending stain. The only thing is you might have to repeatdly apply it on the stain for a while to get it perfect. But each time you will notice it coming good. I have often used this product for Bird and Sap stains that I havent noticed until a few days later. I then use the X-scratch and it gets it 95% out

If they have been on there to long youl never completly get rid of the marks the bird sh#t eats right through the paint and primer to completly get rid of them you need to sand back to bear metal re prime re paint.

Rub the cut and polish from front to back/back to front, rather than in circles. Once you've finished with the cut and polish, move on to a diamond cut polish (like you'd use on a new car), then a polish, then a wax.

Mate, aren't birds bastards
You need the following in the boot of your car or glovebox at all times Non alcoholic baby wipes A quick detail spray or 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water. ultra microfibre cloths Saturate the newly stained area with quick detail spray and get a couple wipes out the pack. fold and hold over the area for 30 seconds. then very lightly wipe over the stain. Then wet your microfibre cloth and wipe clean. To get rid of stains that have been there for a fair while, give the area a good shampooing, the clay the area, wetting the clay bar as well as the surface An extra fine cutting compound or paint cleanser like four star UPC, menzerna or equivelant. A few passes with a swirl mark remover like poorboys world SSR 3 or 2.5 then finish with the lightest SMR you can get Polish the panel then apply sealants, usually two coats at least For bugs on the front of your car Wet the whole bumper and lights with low pressure water, spray shampoo all over the panel and let soak. After that, use a microfibre wash mitt and very lightly wipe over the area with shampoo just like a normal wash Finish with low pressure. Baked on bugs will come off easier when soaked in water and shampoo. it's like dried up breakfast cereal leftovers, you fill your bowl with water for a few minutes or longer in some cases (lazy) and a quick rinse under the tap and it all comes right off. Same thing.

Geesus, Aurora 98 thats a bit of an effort. I just have a bottle of "Meguiars-Quik Detailer " and a rag handy in my boot for those Bird Poo attacks. Just spray on and wipe off. It has some silicone s**t in it so it dont scratch the paint work as you remove the s**t.

Yeah s**t! that was what I kept getting on my Car of a night time when I lived in Sydney. Got to be quick to get that stuff as well, as like you said starts soaking in to the paintwork big time.

you think you have it bad?
My car has been in the shed for about 3 months (has gotten pretty dusty) and my Kelpie managed to get in the shed - up onto the car and walk all over it. You should see the scratches and paw print marks all over my car!!! I dont know what to do. She has ruined my paint-work. I was thinking a dead kelpie might be good to buff the scratches out.....
