mine was glass. Genuine is way too expensive all though if you are lucky like hulkef you can get some really cheap ones off ebay (dunno how he does it lol).

Where did you buy the kit from? BA GT has bigger fog light surrounds and a different shape compare to BF

The exact item listing from Ebay. All the places I've rung won't touch fibreglass... Which is starting to get annoying lol

awww yeah i looked these guys when i was trying to buy mine originally. How is the quality? I've learnt if its anything to go by my experience that these "$700" complete kits are generally poor quality. You should look up blitz bodykits, they may offer fitting but if not should at least know of some panel shops around that could help? Alot of them will want to see the kit and probably only give you rough estimates as they won't know how much work involved until they actually try and fit the kit etc.

Oh yeah if you got the front bar from the pic then its BF GT. although the rear bar looks like the typhoon shape hence the 1 exhaust hole and slightly different lower grille shaping

I dummy fitted the front and rear bar bi problems, sat flush with no need for screws etc. panel beaters etc won't touch fibreglass around here as its too much if a pain. I'm going to just go through a fibreglassing joint and pay the extra dollars.

Awesome good stuff mate, can't wait to see the end product. Surely they would at least paint it for you and you fit it urself. All they gotta do is rub it down and make sure there no pin holes then paint it. It will cost a fair bit but surely there is someone that wants to make some money

I know what you mean mate. I'm just not confident enough that I'll fit it all right etc. as for painting, would be easier for the person that fits it to also paint it. Although I do want a complete different colour for the entire car further down the track, so I'm not fussed how good the quality is at the moment.

It started out as an XT (well SR but basically the same thing), check my build thread for the full story if you are after an interesting read
