Hey guys.
Like a lot of EA/EB's out there on the road, my rear bumper is hanging down a bit. Is this caused by bent mounts, or does the bumper just need realignment? Would this be easy enough for me to do on my own? How does it come off? --Striker.

you have me thinking now. i havent looked or noticed if my bumper is saging. i will have to have a look. the best bet would be to take it off and check the mounts. or the bumper may have sagged due to heat or something like that

Where exactly is it sagging? Is it sagging at the sides near the rear wheels? If so the side are held to the guards by small plastic clips which get stretched over time and then fail. you will need to replace them to fix the aligment of your bumper bar.

Regie: Taking it off is a great idea, and that's exactly what I want to do. My question was how? Where are the mountpoints? the bolts?
Max: Where it meets the rear wheels is fine, the problem is along the rear of the car. --Striker.

Have a squiz under the car most of the points should be seen easily, like the front bumper. You will find the points pretty quick, but you may have dirt and s**t covering them.

I can see two bolts in the boot floor which attach to something which pokes out the rear of the car.
The bumper is bolted to this thing that pokes out the rear of the car. I cannot see any way to 'realign' the rear bumper, and make it sit higher. --Striker.

Yeah I'd be interested too - it looks pretty dodgey sagging lol.

Well, I got the bolts undone, and tried to realign the bumper, but it looks like the bumper itself is out of shape, and will need to be replaced.

I Got A Spare Polynesian Green One But I Dont Think Its Much Help To Ya. Mine Sags A Little Liek It Was Said Earlier Its Just A Bunch Of Plastic Clips That The Bumper Slides. Easy Job TO Replace Maybe Someone Should DO A Doco Cause Theres Alot Of EA-ED Other With This Problem.
