You have to remove the whole front bar as the bottom to bolts for the lights are about 60mm lower behind the bar. Stupid f**k idea :?

Also got a query while im here on removing the indicators..... the manual says there a clip to release and push the light out, but i cant work it out, i can barely squeeze my hand behind there and i can feel theres some sort of "thing" holding it, but cant work it out.......

The front indicators? There is a phillips head screw on top you just loosen that and push them forward.

yeah undid that, but there was no way i could push it out without snapping something, so i checked the manual, and it reckons theres a clip at the back of it holding it in place, and can only be accessed through the wheel arch.... just.

I just cant work out how to release it.

once the phillips head screw that holds the indicator is undone it should just pop it (with a bit of force if it has never been pulled apart before). Also you do not need to take the front bar off to get the headlights off, need a universal joint to get to those hard to reach bolts and a bit of patience.

Front bar takes no time at all to take off, makes it easier to get bolts

I can't remember how I did it but I know it was without removing the front bar. I think I took the grill off but seriously I can't remember.

A socket set with a uni joint should be enough
