hey i have a set of tail lights that are nite shaded, but is not the good stuff. its like a greyish powder coat finish over altezza lights. is there anything i can use to get the paint off so its just the original light? i want to respray it with good s**t so its a dark shiney black. thanks

i havnt tried anything yet. i dont want to risk ruining the light. i was thinking brake fluid but that might destroy it

hey mate from memory last time i used carby cleaner and washed it straight off and it was easy as. the cleaner smashed it straight off then just cleaned with wet rag

Another thing you might wanna do is cover the tail lights in clear contact before you paint, that way if the cops try to defect you, you can peel it off, my mate has done this, or just a roll of tint and put it on there intsead will probs be the same

ive had my nite shaded lights on for a year or 2 now and ive never had any cops say anything about them. most cops will admire it

i know this is slightly off topic, but is there a way to legally tint your tail lights? cause like you guys have said, i dont want to try it then get defected...
