is it a tough job? where can i get orange bulbs?

prepare yourself for a long day doing it, and make sure u have some cold beer on hand cause you will most certainly get frustrated. I cracked mine abit aswell, it aint as easy as putting a hot knife through the glue, get yourself a small cutting tool of some sort aswell and BE PATIENT! unlike me :P

dremel, cuts down drasticly on the time needed, and cut the actual housing and not the lense. you may or may not need to smash the amber filter and pull it out in pieces,on one talight it fell out and the other i had to do some dentistry to remove all the bits

start along the inside of the tailight, (normally hidden by boot) cut between lense and housing, continue around the top and bottom untill the lanse curves around, then cut across the housing a little bit away from the lense (so you dont damage it) then you should eb able to gently lever it open (the orange and red filters will make it difficult)

haha what did I tell ya

can U get it open? if so the lens should pop out with abit of a pry.

If you cant open it yet, have another beer, look at where it joined and try over. Try a THIN flathead screwdriver and pry it apart a little, then cut from there abit further, pry it apart again and keep goin around until ur done

P.S. TOLD YA SO TOLD YA SO :p lol

haha, god these lights are giving me the s**t...

okay what im trying to do, is cut with a stanley in the same spot til i can level it a little and break the contact between plastic and the lens... and where it gets harder to cut, heat the knife with a gas torch and cut it then... but it still is taking too long!!!

anyone got any better ideas?
