yeah they're 19's.
as soon as you turn the wheel a fraction too much you'll hit the guard. and they've been rolled too. so its just too impractical for me now. anyone recommend springs i should go? super lows are on now im pretty sure. would going to lows raise it enough?

mate there is no way thats superlows in the front have a look in my gallery, iv got 19s and ultralows all rounds.
i recomend you go for a set of superlows for the front and leave the rear.

mines about the same height as yours on the front.
what would i need to get to raise it?

superlow springs it raise the front a little bit.
spring compressors a few spanners, flat head screw driver and a jack. no power tools are needed for the job. its easy as to change them over yourself iv done mine about 3 times now.lol if you need any more info on how to do the job step by step just ask.

the shocks can play a part in the height aswell. if there rather old and worn out that can aid in the suspension sagging down a bit. Just a thought.
But yeh, the front seems to sit a bit lower than superlows. Well, compared to mine with supers in the front, yours looks another 1/2inch lower. But maybe the wheel height of your 19"s could be having an effect aswell?

yeah im not sure.
bottom line is i really want to raise it so ive got complete clearance of the front wheels. springs seem like the good choice to start with. its been that low for ages now. shocks i can do later on i guess.

I did this about a year ago, i ended up putting the wing back on because she kept on leaking.

just go into repco and ask for some.
take it off first, then go there. ask to test out some sizes. see what fits in. make sure its SUPER tight. mine are tight, and no chance of leaking.

Yeah, most of the guys working at supercheap, autobarn etc are retards/kids, i could only find 1 packet that would fit, and they were hard plastic.
I was thinking of siliconing the holes in flush, how effective that would be i have no idea. How much is it to weld up the boot? |

welding the boot isn't hard at all.
it's best to get someone professional to do it. but you'd have to get the whole boot lid resprayed. so itd be between $200-$400 and the best thing to do is use the grommets. most repco's have then ill all different sizes. maybe try another store? it also helps as if u ever decide you want the spoiler back on, you can just bolt it back on.

i too am looking to remove the spoiler, but wont until i find another boot same colour or do a swap with someone as i cant justify spending a few hundred to fix up the holes.
And removing the spoiler and leaving 6 holes/grommets showing is more unsightly the the spoiler itself lol |
