Hey all
whats the easiest way to repair a crack in a Fairmont front bar. Fibreglassing behind the crack and fill with bog, or simple as aralditing the bastard together? cheers

Depending on where the crack is you might even be better off getting a new bar. If its closer to the top middle of the bar its in a high stress area so it will re occur as soon as its driven on the road again. If its some where lower and away from the high stress area's you should be fine.
Mines screwed for this reason so I'm just going to replace it with a Venom bar instead. Nath |

nah its underneath the bar. its only going on my car for a week or so while my good one gets paint. Just thought i can jam it, and sell it as a decent item

Don't they repair/plastic weld bumpers anymore.....I'm presently fixing an XR6 Bumper which also has crack init and was going to get it welded???

Hmmmm I asked a panal work shop if it would be ok but he explained that it would crack. I didn't ask if that was plastic welded or not. I thought the same thing as you...
