hey guys, just thought i could get a bit of info from some of you patrol boys/panelbeaters on here.

long story short, the Patrols roof is pretty f**k, around the sunroof. tooo much rust to grind out and bog up, and there is one part that will probably fall through if i so much as blow on it.

my dad went to a crash repairer in town, and they quoted about $3800 to replace the whole roof  i think thats a bit steep, but then again i dont exactly know how much work this involves, they also said it would take about a week to do.

so, do you reckon it could be done for cheaper, or is there a different way of going about this?

(i will take a pic of the rust tomorrow, as its too dark right now to take pics on a black car lol)

and then hire a compressor + spray gun (if you dont have one) and paint the roof, oh and buy a new roof.

paint, primer, clear all adds up work out how much it will cost you to do and then decide what way to go. personally i would do it myself, already got an oxy, compressor and spray guns, primer and il i need is the correct colour paint
