How good does an air compressor need to be to attempt a home respray. :)

depends on what u are spraying.

the sprayguns use quite a lot of air.

You need a least 12CFM, 2.5 hp, 50L tank.
Any bigger than this and you start looking at 15amp power. Of course bigger is always better

Belt drives are generally more reliable than direct drive units

yeah the more air capacity the better, you dont want to run out of air when your doing a job....gets very messy. Also get a quality water seperator

make sure there is lots and lots of heat in the room your spraying in, other wise paint pitts and looks s**t

and if your doing 2pac in your garage, try spraying the concrete with water before you start. Stops the overspray and dust
