I think it would be beifical for you to undertake the same job on an ED Falcon when youve finished with this one. It will hone your skills and make you a more capable Tradesman. It just so happens I know of a donar car for you to "hone" your skills on. And I wont charge you for experience.

started paint stripping today, only found one old repair on a door which i thought was full of bog so im pretty happy! Images are in order to show everyone whats involved in paint stripping. You scuff up where you are stripping with some 36 grit paper, and mask about 10mm in from all edges to stop it running down the inside of the panel where you dont want 2 strip. You then spread it out evenly and fairly thick, better using a bit too much and doing it once properly than stuffing around having to do it twice, put plastic over it once its spread, this keeps the fumes in and supposedly makes it work quicker, leave it about 15 minutes or half an hour, then scrape it off into the plastic and throw it away, any paint left over, eg on edges is machine sanded off later.
