Well that's one way to empty the engine bay!!
I can't help but think it looks like an orange taxi at this stage, but I'm sure it'll look better IRL when it's done.

Nah I havent got all that gear at home, dad has a workshop which helps! Nah I have very little spare time, I work 8 til 5 monday to friday and travel 50km each way to work, work 1/2 day saturday 2, but took saturday off to put the motor in, All the work ive done on the car has taken me 6 months of after work and weekends. Yeah I've been copping it a bit about TAXI, but I think that will stop when my 18 inch billets go back on and the EL XR front. I hope so anyway!

WELL DONE - LOOKS "s**t HOT" :!: :!: :!:

I'm just starting an XR conversion to my EF FUTURA. Started sanding front bar today, but using mouse sander (slack - I know), and not getting result I'm nessesarily happy with!

Considering I'm only doing front and rear bars, boot spoiler and bonnet - would I be better doing everything (bar the bonnet) by hand!?

As with everything, I'm learning as I'm going. This is the first time I have attempted sanding and re-painting work, so I'm sort of teaching myself from the word go!!! Lookin' forward to the challange though! :D

Any advise appreciated :!: :!: :!: :D

Cheers - Matt.
