Hi guys... I want to respray the plastic bumpers on my EL wagon... they're (supposed to be) argon silver.
I know about spraying metals, but what about plastics.. what's the process for doing this?

basically the same

sand back with 120ish wet/dry to remove the old clear and mark the old paint
so the new paint has somethign to stick to :)

So just wash it. Give it a once over with some wax/grease remover. Sand the whole thing with 120 wet/dry... get all the dust off... spray.
Sound about right?

Bare plastic needs to be primered with a Plastic Primer before regular primers or fillers are applied.

My rear bumper needs painting - it's black. Some one said that if it had armourall on it the paint won't take.
Looks like a bit of sanding will do the trick (I hope)

Let us know how you get in Adam
