Lol, my car smells really good, and my boot is never dirt (and no smell). It's only ever green s**t from the garden, inside a tarpoline.

O and if you mean from going to the dump, no, the smell in the air does not attach itself to my car, lol. :)

That’s the sprit of the forums.

I turbo'ed my EF 3 years ago, long before most people even thought about it, even though it would be nice to be "unique" I haven't hesitated in helping anyone with details and ideas on how to get their car to the same stage as mine.
If that was everyone’s attitude then there would be no tech documents on how to change clusters, LED conversions and so on...

[/End rant]

Good luck with it all..

Good point mate, and a very valid one. Though to counter that, the few people that PM'd me about it got emails sent with a couple of pics to go along and hopefully help describe what happens.

What you're saying is spot on... anything that gets done to a car will be found out and word spread eventually, and if it was my idea that I came up with I would be forthcoming with as much info as possible for anyone interested. As I said though, it's out of respect for a good friend of mine who showed me how to do it, and it was him that asked me to try and keep it quiet.

It's not a hugely special mod or anything IMO either and if you guys don't like it then that's fine by me lol, don't do it to your car/s. I saw it done and liked it, I had a look around to see if anyone else had done it and saw they hadn't so decided to do it. For now it makes mine different and I like it because it cost me nothing to do, just a Saturday morning in the shed was it.

Hope it's clear to you now that I'm not trying to be an a***hole about it by saying "f**k you guys, I wanna keep it to myself" because that's not it at all.

Cheers ;)

That's alright then, was just making sure I wasn't being an a***hole about it haha.

As soon as anyone sees it and how it works they all just instantly go "oh... is that all??" hahaha usually they don't care anymore after seeing it because they've seen how simple it is :P

I reckon one good use for it is it would make it heaps easier to polish and wax the boot.
I reckon it would be worth it just for those who like to clean and detail their cars.

lol flying performance

just do the boot urself...get some hinges that could bolt onto the existing arms without cutting and gluing.....

and get a stick to hold up the boot on the tip so it stops it from tiliting down.
