Can some one please tell me how to revserse my boot lid, and also post pics or direct me to a couple of pictures. I know someone here has done this, as I have seen their car in a post, but for the life of me, cannot find it again.

I know theres someone on ebay thats selling instructions, but I thought it would be easier for someone who has done it to let me know.

Thanks

i would think its easy....remove the boot...install some heavy duty hinge type thing so that the boot can fold....then install some struts or maybe bonnet gas shocks slightly to the front of the inside of the boot so that it holds it up level and can extend and retract when opening and closing....thats my theory

you mean so it lifts backwards instead of up? Thats a stupid idea.. it basically defeats the purpose of a boot.. you wouldn't really be able to put big things in it. Why would you want to do that lol.. :?

But if it opens backwards you can only look in from the sides and also place things from the sides... That has to be the stupidest idea i have ever read.

"Hey dudes check out my boot, can't put a thing in it but man it looks so RICE!"

How is that a reverse boot lid? It's just a flatlift conversion.
Instead of pivoting open it opens flat.

I don't see any reversing!

I only saw ef-xran boot lid today (i have seen this ages ago, but forgot all about it) and people have been taking about it yesterday and today. So yeah ef-xran needs to talk about it.

Thats what I was on about, I know its not exactly reverse, but it got all of your attention and, well theres a few that knew what I was on about.

But thats what I want to do, and I would like to know how.

The only bad thing is now, everyone now knows about it, and wants to do it, so its not really going to be a unique thing anymore...more like a spoiler...everyones got them (figure of speach, i know EVERYONE doesnt have one)

there was one on pimp my ride i saw the other week.
they made it kind of like an old roadster, where the boot opens and there is a d**k seat in there. then an LCD panel opened from the roof for you to watch tv while sitting in the boot.
