$200, bugger that. $90 from Jaycar. Thats a complete unit, not a kit.

As for whether they are any good, I don't know. I have never been a bad enough driver to have to use one.

Yeah, true, i just saw an ad just then for the polaris, i think the standard one is just 120 or something the 199 is with voice thingy and stuff, you can even get a reverse camera with 3.5" screen as well, but i would only want it for a 'handy' sort of thing....

Reverse sensors are good if you are a bad driver. :D

I think they are a signal to other drivers that you cant reverse and that they should keep clear :shock:

my mums landrover has em and she back into next door neighboors bins twice i thought it was an easy concept of when the sound has no gaps maybe u need to pull forward

i think there handy for if ur unable to see things that maybe too low cause i back into somthing that way in my last car but besides that no real need

I heard that they are a great idea for large 4WDs as you can't see a small child directly behind the car.

Better safe than sorry.. I found them to be fairly useful in the BAs as they have fairly big a***, would also be handy in the lane too (bigger a***). Trying not to say that in a way suggesting I am a bad driver. :roll:
