i wanna try this design... you hald drop the guage into the bonnet. see how the xr scoop has the indents after the scoop... like that only the fibreglass will come up and over the top of the guage. so put the guage where the mesh is and wrap in fibreglass

i think aftermarket guages read better then stock... like my temp guage has never really moved even when extremely low on water

why would it be rice on an EB???

Settle down huggie your really defensive.

I said if I put them on MY Eb then it would be rice. I have no use for them on my EB so therefore they would be Racing Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements aka RICE.

I love every square milimetre of that car but guages on the outside of cars are a bit tacky...

that's more than likely your sender not your gauge.
big gauges everywhere looks stupid, i don't care if that offends people. it's like monster tachos, you don't need them, at most all you need is a shiftlight.
my mate has an s15 <turbo obviously> and it has a factory gauge on the A pillar, it looks gay. They always just look cheap, and tacked on.
I understand a gauge is helpful, but if you want everything too look nice in your car, get a decent ECU or something with a hand controller and have revs, boost, top speed, AFR, engine temp etc all in one nice neat little device.
gauges are clumsy and tacky, and reek of rice-o-barn.

i fully agree with the monster tacho tho. i only want boost, temp, oil pressure, oil temp and 3 shiftlights... lol my bit of rice... one green for normal shift, orange/yellow for high change and a red one for "OH MY F**KING GOD CHANGE GEAR NOW!!!"

You can get multistage shift lights...
as i said, a decent ecu will have all this on the hand controller, much more accurate than a gauge.
