i like the Au series 2 XR rims they look sweet... but in terms of something aftermarket i would most probably put ROH furys on........ there is also a really awsome rim made by advanti called 'photon' they look awsome not sure if they make them for AU offfset tho but it doesnt hurt to find out i spose

if your looking for somthing factory i had a set of 17" BA ghia alloys on my au3 xr6 ute they look pretty good.there is a set on ebay for $700 with tyres. you just need to change the center caps to standard ones as they have ghia on them

I'm talking realistically for that ute.

27s were brought over for a range rover the other day... Now thats huge!

Go the 19s, it'd still be legal for your car, it'll look sweet.

i saw a set of enix 19" or 18" rims that look class but are enix rims good or are they s**t for sydney roads as i had 18" BSA's on my last car and they chipped easy for chromes. Or if some one knows of a set of wheels that look class on a silver XR6 AU2 ute?

If i were you i would keep the stockies, there good rims.
But if you must, try and get a set of Typhoon rims that would be diferent!
Or you could get soem EL GT or BA GT 8-)

You have a point, but i was not referring to Genuine EL GT rims, as the ofset does not match. I am sure their are copies of those GT rims to suit the AU :D

I'd skip the idea of EL GT rims. Whats the point in swapping 17's for 17's??
Go aftermarket... be one to show some sign of originality. I'd pass on the BA GT and F6 rims too. Overpriced and there are much better ones out there.

like i would like to keep the original rims on my ute but the guy that owned it before me couldn't drive for s**t and damaged them but if they were perfect i would have just lowered the ute to suit the orig rims but now i don't want to lower it until i get the new rims so i need ideas.
