It looks really nice in the prep there, what kind of prep work did u do? strip or just sand? bog? or just hi-fill and sand?

Degreased the whole engine (obviously), sanded back with 600 grit, hifilled, scuffed back with 800grit, then painted :) The only bog work involved was were the wheel arch was bashed out to fit the CAI.

Ahhh good to see you stuck with the WRX front bar. Now i definately cant wait to see the finished product. You aiming for a magazine feature or anything when its done? Would be a good read.

Hopefully, don't exactly know what you need to do to get into one tho...

Just send some photos and a write up of the car to the magazine or editor....if u pcik a few mags u'd hope to see the car in go to a newsagents and have a flick through and they should have a section saying "if youd like to see your car in here...heres what you have to do ...."

Looks like a nice project....do u paint as a profession or just a backyard DIY

Big kev, this is the first time i have ever attempted this sought of thing. My mate who was a proffesional panel beater is helping me through it, and we'll be hiring outa spray booth to do the rest of the car.
