an hour should be fine...
and u mean between primer and colour or base silver and colour the latter u could repaint after 15-20 mins, same with clears watchout some paints will fry up/blister if recoated after a couple of hours, enamels especially |

hey all im currently in the midst of this 'mod'. ive already stripped the rocker cover of all the paint that i could get, there are still some places left with paint so ive started to sand it all down to get rid of these spots.
my question is, what stages did everyone go through of sanding their cover down? ie: what grades of sandpaper used (wet/dry?) is a primer necessary? ill be painting with just engine enamel (ford dark blue is the colour im using) any help would be much appreciated!! !Bilko!
