Dumb question, looking at roof racks on ebay, how the f**k do they attach?
I want something I can remove and not have mounting points still there, or holes. I only need something cheeeaaaap, they'll get used like once a year if that, just thought they could be handy. Or am I better off getting something designed to fit an EA-EL? Or blanket on roof and ratchet straps through doors FTW? Surely someone on here is a roof rack expert, there is experts on everything else PS this is serious, im not f**k' around, the poll is cause I've never made a poll before

Your best option is a proper set of racks designed for the specific vehicle. Rola are my personal favourite brand, but there are others such as Thule.
With Rola they generally offer a few different options, usually the first attachs/clips above the doors. Then for heavier load carrying they generally require a permanent mounting point on the vehicle. Personally I've got the rail adjustable ones on my wagon. |

Clean up your boot, you dirty C***, and there probbaly wouldn't be any need for a roof rack!
Just borrow my van for the weekend!, i can even put the rear seat back in if needed (no belts though) |

Nah, it would be for snowboards, so trailer is out, sketchy enough driving a falcon on ice/snow without towing something
Borrowing car is kind of out as well. Especially daves POS van It wouldn't make it up the mountain Also want to retain backseat for carrying people. twr7cx, how much you pay for yours?

A handful or tek screws, little bit of welding knowledge and a few old bars and angle iron That's what we got on the old EA stationwagon...

last time i went to the snow there was only 3 of us so the snow boards fit in the back seat/boot of an EF
but if you are taking more people get them to throw in and buy ome good ROLA racks or something

Seriously, if you clean up you boot. (We'll do it this weekend.) You might be able to fit a few snowboards in. s**t i mean a tailshaft fits across in the EL boots. Just take the bindings off the boards. Or are snowboards really that long that they wont fit sideways?
You could still also get 4 people in ur car, just fold down the 40 side of the back seat. What's wrong with my POS van! Just cause it looks like a vietnamese green grocers van. PS. It still has the same size wheels as your Sprint. But don't tell anyone! That could get embarassing on your behalf! haha Plus its manual, has a sub, 6x9's and cd player. |

Get a Wagon
I've got Rhino Sportz Racks on my wagon, they sound similar to twr7cx's ones.. I've never used mine, but they do look good You can remove the racks but the tracks have to stay..

do you actually own snow boards?
otherwise spend up big on a mountain side resort and rent the boards from there and all you will have to carry is your luggage
