can i ask why most people without the clock buy dashmats manufatured FOR the clock ? whenever i've looked for them i've only found ones that suit falcons without the clock and cover that area lol

Nope won't fit the rear window is completely different. The corners are different for one.

so that dash guages can be added later without chopping the dash mat or having to buy a new one...

well there is no dashmat on my dash and also the BA rear wing there isnt dependant on the rear window size so to speak. theres 2 little legs that double sided tape to the glass then the wing clips to them. i wouldnt mind betting the top of the rear windows are about the same. most of the rear quarters are the same the roof looks the same and the door panels are the same.

i cant find a part number on it yet. i park next to a blueprint xr6 at work on a saturday that also has one. his was dealer fitted before he got the car 2nd hand aswell. we're going to pull them off on saturday and have a good look over them for a part number

I'll grab a pic of the rear window of an AU and prove to you that there is a huge difference. BA windows are alot squarer than the AU
