I have found some rust on the chassis of the AU. I'll get under on the weekend to have a better look but a couple of queries.

If it's some surface rust and sanded back, what would be good to put on it to stop it spreading?

if it has rusted through, is there anything I can do? can you get a plate welded over it? Or has the car finished? Don't think it would pass another roadworthy.

Surface rust.? Rust converter.

Rust damage? someone who has welding ability and is familiar with removing rusted sections.
