Hey guys since i dont have a license my car just sits in the driveway and it probly wont be too much of a problem now but during winter water has been sitting on my 12 slotters and they have been rusting up.
I have used steel wool to remove the rust but now there are patches in my chrome around the rim :( lol but anyway does anyone know wot i can put on there to stop them rusting ? my bro rekons some grease will do the trick... ? lol

cheers boys

No to the contrary, they were surprised how well it worked on the rust, but no good as a degreaser.

Try a wire wheel in a grinder to get it off and a bit of gold galv, killrust or the likes to stop the rust.

Then if wanna touch em up buy some "chrome spray" just to blend it in a bit as you cannot get rims rechromed.

you can but its gonna cost $$$ call up some wheel shops, if they dont do repairs there they will put you onto a place that does.

in my experience "chrome spray" is just glorified silver paint and doesnt look anything like chrome
