well, pretty stoked - my parcel arrived today!

XR bonnet is on the way, hence why no pics of the scoop on the car yet. the rear of the airbox needs to be filed out a bit more to accomodate my intake piping (only a tiny bit) and a pod needs to be purchased & fitted. but all-in-all, looks pretty good! :P

*sniff* that's not my airbox lid on the left is it fras? Memories...

haha it would be yours mart! :P looks liek you can have it back now! hehe. might look at getting some tough mesh to fit in the scoop, as opposed to the fly-wire stuff that came with it :?

Makes the engine bay look much better no doubt! Gives it that sportier look..

looks good. .but the box is just for looks :P its better gutting your own and putting a rubber seal with more of an opening! :P

but bobugly, what bout that airflow? .... bypass filter setup CAI is it?! :) lol


anyone want a right side scoop? decided not going to use it!

lol the lid was on just to have a look-see as to if it fits a-ok - pod will be fitted before the scoop & lid are put on! :) we're looking at opening the hole up more, and sealing it to the scoop - but more pics will be posted when we've done something more!

fuz - what have you done in regards to your existing intake snorkel - i'm assuming you've left it still there? :?

I opened up the hole about 3cm all the way round, should be sufficent if sealed correctly

Haven't done anything as got few other things that distracted me.. too lazy i spose.. its all ready to go just need to make another cover for the pod and a retune.. but joes been a bit busy for the retune so no chance as of yet! projector spotties in first then maybe i will do it! :P
