Hi guys i have just found the rebel body kit but i have been told its for series two Au's but i have a series one (manufactured in dec 1998) so im wondering what the difference is when it comes to the bumpers and skirts if i can fit them on with no issues.

my mate told me that there is no diff in bodies froms eries one to series three model au's its just the interior that is different

I had an AU1 XR6 with a Rebel body kit, fitted no probs..

Is your AU an XR?

Mine is an au forte - whats the difference between the series then if its not the body - i know some of the interior is different but i never can tell what else is

Theres heaps a differences, Grille, Tail Lights, Rims, AU2/3 has double din Head Unit, LCD Odometer not Orange, the radio surround is different, fan a/c knobs are different, I'm pretty sure mechanically there the same tho..

How do you know what series you have? cause i have an LCD screen odometer and its not orange plus i have a double din head unit? cause as i said ealier mine was manufactured in December 1998 so would that make it a series one or two?

sorry about all the questions i use to be a holden boy till i bought my ford and found it better then holdens which i have driven or known

December 98 is a series 1.
