i would like to shave the boot on my EBII, I'm going to remove the plastic lining and get a plate welded in there, bog it and re-spray it, the number plate will be moved down to the bumper, but i have the little problem of were the reverse lights would then go, just asking for suggestions from you guys before i start. the only thing i have thought of so far would be to put holes through the plate that's getting welded in, and go from there

that would be great if you would put up a pic, i have not seen a falcon with a shaved boot yet, i think i am going to stick with the EA tail light idea, its much cleaner i think.
this is about where im up to at the moment, i have finished welding it and it is bogged, just a few finishing touches and then to get it painted E9 Metallic green like my car

ewwwwwwwwww. why'd you do that for? EA tailights look honky as anything. the boot garnish looks good. it comes in handy if you have to mount a P plate

well i got a spare boot, not doin it to the original one, just cause i may not like it, i just thought that since i haven't ever seen it don't i myt as well do it, im gunna get the ea tail lights as i dont want to have to replace the bumper after having reverse lights in them if i decide to put the original boot back on.

Modify the EB tail lamps by taking out the orange lense in the indicator and replacing the indicator globes with orange items the pop in some white LED's (inside the indicator lense) for reverse lights.

yes and mounting a p plate is the number one objective here of course....

laws are different in every state dude. we only need to have it somewhere in the window, front and back, others require the car to have it attached to bumpers etc.
