can't u just get some scrap metal rods and cut it to a certain length and use that as a popper?

yeah there is nothing to say you cant you just dont want the top peice to thin so it doesnt hurt your finger when you push i have even used a coat hanger when e did the handles on a mates dato ute and just put a little rubber bit on top

i was thinking of doing that....but not with a coat hanger wire i think its a bit too thin. something thicker and as u said with a rubber piece on top.......maybe camoflage (spelling?) them some how. but either way its looking good mate =D

yeah my poppers you can barely see because of the black striping it pokes though and the black windows. and it will only stick out as much as it needs to so when it is pressed it will nearly be flush with the strip

yeah that will work depends if you have something lying around other wise any metal place maybe even some hardware places will have something and in all sorts of sizes so you can choose the exact size you want

How are you going to seal it so that when it pops back down water stays out. I was just thinkin that there might be a chance of water getting into the door.

the amount of water that will get though will be stuff all not even worth worrying about and it doesnt matter if a bit does anyway it all drains out though the bottom same as when water gets through between the window and it poor excuse for a seal

i can vouch for that poor excuse for a seal....lol

went camping got home an felt the bottem of my door trim....all the velour was soaked bout an inch up. took all the trims off an dryed them by the fire. wasnt impressed.
