Hey there Nath. A plenum is usually designed for forced induction set up, they are an aftermarket assessory usually made of alloy, meaning it isnt paint they put on its polished alloy "giving it that chrome look". If your after one try snort performance, they have ones starting from $1000 another mob to try is nizpro BUT very $$$ expensive. Try the trading post or ebay, or if you know someone who can fab up metal get them to knock you one up for a few hundred bob.

I just realised are you talking about chroming your BBM or air intake??? If so it requires hours maybe even days sanding the powder coat off the intake and wet sanding it then buffing the cr@p out of it.

Good luck to you.

I polished my upper intake and chrome painted the lower intake. Only did it that way because I was lazy.

There's a doco someone wrote about it somewhere, I can't remember what it's called.

Do yourself a favour and get a dremel when doing it though.
