Nice eyes.

Reminds me of something I did 20+years ago to the 180b (don't laugh)

XA van rear wrap around wing and sliced up Cobra front spoiler. Made it to Custom Vans (a mag around at the time).

Unluckily my ex deceided that I didn't need the photo's and mags I had so I only have my memories.

do you mind if i ask how you get the bumpers etc to fit? from memory, is it a process of plastic welding on the fittings from the EF bumper to the BA one? something like that?

also, how are you getting along with the side skirts - they still going on the car?

Yeah basically using as much of the EF mounting as possible, any part where it meets existing panels etc is the EF bumper (ie. basically the top 1/4) the rest is the BA.

BA XR rear bar is finished, just needs prepping and spraying.
BA XR side skirts are still waiting for me to cut em up, had my final exam yesterday so i'll spend the next 2 weeks finishing it :)

how do you go about plastic welding? and cutting up the bumpers? i'd be very tempted to give different things a shot, but i'd be worried about stuffing it up! do you do all your own spraying etc as well?

Haha Luke, maybe i could borrow ur engine.
speaking of which actually.
i *do* need a bulge.
the Gas Research throttle body is so close to the bonnet that when it was fitted, it puched a dint in the bonnet from the inside.
so now i have a nice dint :o
i'll use that as my reason :P

plastic welding is pretty much like welding only simpler.
its just melting plastic rods *shrug*
CUtting the bumpers, just go hacking em :) i get em free so its no biggie if i stuff it up.
Yeah i spray it myself, i'd prefer to learn how to spray it myself and safe myself plenty of money in the process :P
