I actually quite like my nankang tyres, I had to get them as second handies after cutting up my Pirelli P6's on the rear. They provide reasonable traction in the dry and do allow for some decent traction on the dirt roads (they will keep me straight upto 100km/h), My only quibble is that they tend to get the tail out a bit more than the pirelli's and roll onto the side walls alot more when cornering hard (Which has caused me a problem quite a few times, like this morning when the wagon's rear went on a off road adventure but the front was still in the same line that it should have been, clipped a McDonalds sign but no damage luckily).

Im looking at upgrading to Bridgestone Supercat's which are apparently harder than the Pirelli, But marginally softer than the Nankang, Hopefully will make the car a bit more stable around the corners.

Ill post pics of my pride and joy soon (Although she is pretty much stock with the exception of the TV and Head unit)

Love them LG and Glenn :D.

Espcially the showcar glens interior is mint. But why keep the base models crappy cluster?

I must say ty for creating this thread for the AU-BF cars to show off :D

Well finally the bodykit is on today, a day and a bits work, not everything fits the best but it looks awesome in my opinion either way :). Gotta get the high beam, and fog lights wired up next week.

This is my car originally.

Looks good man! nice job with the kit but i reckon you need bigger exhaust tips and puyll the forte badge off :D
I kept my original cluster because its black. I could have replaced it with a tickford one but they're either white or blue.. I had a blue one so i sold it. I'm not a fan of colours in my interior, i think it tends to make it look a bit tacky unless they're lights or something. I've done the momo steering wheel and gear knob too.

Yes I need bigger exhaust tips, was meant to pm blinkau and ask him what size tips he has. Glenn the T-series came with twin 4" tips right?
I need to get my exhaust lowered a bit anyways its rattling a little on takeoff. Next week hopefully.
I meant the other glens cluster :P. He tricked out his whole interior but kept the crappy cluster just made it white instead.I'm upgrading my cluster for a more sporty look.

Glen you could get a black fascia but still have it light up, blue, red, orange :).

I just put in a ghia knob, but its light grey maybe I can dye it hopefully. And the chrome gear surround.
I dont want a blue steering wheel but they're the most common.

Also glenn I have fog lights to get installed, but I want a proper switch not some tacky thing drilled into my dash. The only AU's to come with a fog light switch was the T-series, any idea what sort of switch or where it was? I went to the ford parts section but she couldn't find the part.

Pic of exhaust before the car was lowered. I reckon the tip is still way too small.

Your car looks great MilleniumFalcon when I had the wing off to put the ts50 one on I nearly didnt put it on as it looks so good without the wing.

Glenn whats next for the falcon, it looks like your exterior is set perfectly now.

That 7oast AU looks like such a feckin poser. is there any engine work done? Is that a C2R kit? It looks f**k gay. Glenn's looks much better.

lol thanks.. but 70AST has put more work into his than i have. His engine isn't stock.. mine is 100% stock apart from the exhaust and the manual conversion :(
A lot of people seem to love the look of my car.. its original thats what i like about it. It just f**k me off when people pm me asking where i got my kit and wheels from when i try to have an original look.. i usually don't respond though.. i hate people who copy!!

when you whore your car out that much what do you expect!

you're just jealous.. no one wants to copy your s**t because it involves washing it in an sand pit and attacking it with a golf club.

Pffft...i know my cars not all that...and i dont go posting pictures of it every second thread! :P

hahahahaaha

seriously i dont mind the au shape at all.

Gettin rid of my ef xr8 next weekend and im probably gonna get a WH statesman but i keep looking at the te50's. It'd be a fairlane hands down if it had the te50 motor.

Just hope i find a TE50 before a statesman!

Thanks Blinkau I just realised what I did wrong, for some reason I thought my tips were 3", but they must only be 2".
Oh dont you worry I will be getting the rear spoiler when I get rid of some bills and some new rear tyres. The front end looks awesome, and complete the back end looks like its missing something, the rear spoiler of course. I was originally going to get the TS50 rear wing like you have, til I saw a side on pic of it and thought nah, so im going for the Hawk wing instead.
Nice car by the way, black stripes will look good, one or 2 around here white with black stripes. I love what Bucknaked did with his stripes though, 2 big ones straight down the middle of the car, like the olldddddddddd GT's had. I want black ones down the middle of mine.

Till_Lind thanks, I love it :D. I fell in love with the kit when I found it on awcinfo. I just had to have it. They call it the XR50, based on the XR and the T-50 front bar. Dont quote me on this but I think Adam from AWC info came up with the idea.

Hey schnoods that TS50 TickXR just pointed out seems pretty damn cheap, even though it has done a bit of k's, but a nice car :D.
Also have you considered the TL50? Which I think was the T-series Fairlane if im not mistaken?
