Ash002, they are some sexy looking rims and some nice underbonnet work done there. Anything else been done on the performance side of things?

Anything else been done on the performance side of things? thanks mate, not much performance- got lukey extractors, full 2 1/2" exhaust with balistic 100cpsi cat, custom airbox, underdrives. makes 150.7rwkw @ HPF with some decent torque. got a boot install going on atm. will be at geelong all ford day and i will be parked next to you guys (fordmods display) literally i will be next to use.

classy looking regency.. ever thought of dropping the 17's for fg g6e optional 19's? they have the same spoke pattern as your stock rims.. just larger.. and still classy... would look hot i reckon!

Thanks fordfreak ef. I've thought about bigger rims. The factory 17s are OK but a bit conservative.
I was considering the original BA GT ones (18 inch I think), but your suggestion sounds good too. The FG G6E 19s are very smart. Wouldn't mind putting the XR side and rear skirts on as well, like the BFII Fairmont Ghia. Only nuisance is, my car has one of those one piece bumpers, not the two piece which would make the mod easier (and cheaper)!

Here's a few older and some recent images

From what i remember as well ... there were no factory AU XR6 or XR8 wagons made at all.
There was no factory XR S models either. It may have been a dealership mock-up to try and sell a few more wagons though ... some dealerships did a few "special" models that were modified after they came from factory.
