When you find a set of coils that will get it that low, let me know.. Otherwise keep your opinions to yourself hey? Don't go ragging on peoples mods and decisions because what works for some, doesn't for others.. I don't think anyone make sssssl springs.

King Springs make an Ultra Low, short of that Airbags will get your sills on the ground.
http://www.kingsprings.com/catalogue.htm

Cutting springs whilst leaving the standard shock absorber in there can potentially unseat your coil, if your suspension suddenly drops faster than your car... ie : going too fast over a speed hump.
It's just not safe. Maybe I shouldn't have used douchebag as a descriptive noun like I did.
But it got your attention to the matter at least.

the shocks were matched for the spring height as they are after market shocks not factory.. I've been driving with the car like this for about a year in all types of conditions and situations and nothing has ever happened. It also rides better than factory.. besides the speed bumps.. So thanks for your concern but it is staying how it is. Its safe too...

OMG mine have peeled as well, on more than one wheel as well, i got one replaced under warranty as well, i went to speedy wheels and the guy actually said yeah i have seen this before (im thinking serious, how fuked up is that) anyways i got a new rim and he actually said i could buy the old one for $50 so i did and keep it as a spare.

But yeah the other rims are all peeling slightly, on the dish part as well as the black inserts on the spokes, tbh i am not that impressed with them, i have also had 3 of them buckle and i sure as s**t dont hit any pot holes etc, one was so bad it had a pretty decent big crack in it. Got them all repaired for $150 each but still p****d me a off a fair bit. I dont know if its something Speedy wheels have in common (just simple crap build qaulity) but i know i definitlely wont be buying that brand again.

The guy i am getting it done as wants to see the kit as well but he said roughly 700, wudnt be much more once he sees it though.

Ahh f**k you have a lifetime structural warranty and should of had them replaced for free if they buckkeld but my other wheels are 100% was only peeling on the black part of spokes i want to lower my car about an inch but dont know how much it will be

nah the thing is they can just say the buckle was from driving in a pothole or something like that which isnt covered by warranty, its not as though it was a manufacture defect, plus this was at least a year after i got them so you know it would be hard to prove otherwise. yeah i lowered mine about 1.5inches although i wante lower but cbf atm. i got mine done for 400 with peddars low springs, that was springs only, you could get king springs which are cheaper though, i did the shocks later on which made such a difference to the handling.

On side note - my BF GT body kit turned up today!!! soo stoked, the thing is bloody huge!
