Nice.

I now own a set of CSA Prowlers in 17x8 with some Khumo 235/45 R17's on them. I still have my FTR's on the EB Ghia. I think the CSA's will go on my Xr8.

Cheers

New set of rims & tyres. They are second hand, little bit of gutter rash but not all that noticeable until your up close! Probably end up on my white Xr8, might do duties on the EB Ghia for a little while tho, i need new rubber on it soon.

This thread will come in handy yet again. Looking for new wheels for the Lane as I donated the Advanti Volts to the wifes wagon, so the Lane is rolling on stockies once again
Image
Looks pretty good slammed om stockies, but I know I'll grow tired of it pretty quickly.
Haven't decided what to go for, but I found these........same as the Volts I had fitted in the post at the top of this page, but in 18's and shadow chrome with a machined lip :?
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/18inch-ADVANTI-V ... 1c1564ede1
Also selling a set of 17x8 CSA Prowlers if anyone is looking for a set
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=95231
might consider swap for a set of pre-au cobra's as shown in sig pic with possible cash difference either way dependant on tyres and rim condition

the best wheels for that Lane would be 16's from the late NL Concordes.

.......or even paint the centres gold for the Simmons V5 look

Certainly looks different, but I'm not sold. I did have my eye on a set of ROH chicanes which are a similar style to those concords when I was last searching for rims. Don't think the gold works with the mix of chrome and cardinal red.....too much happening. There was a guy from Newcastle that was a member here at one stage who claimed to have a gold plated DC LTD grille, but never did see it. Ah well, I like chrome anyway

you referring to the stockies? I would love to polish them up and remove the few minor blemishes they do have, but I don't think they would keep me happy for too long.

Genuine ford centres for the Concorde rims. no, the second set of rims you found on eBay! I didn't like those that much as a mate had some on his crappadore.

I reckon these look great on white or dark coloured cars.
