same here. There some insane rims with +22 or +30 offsets. And with a nice lip too.

Nissansilvia.com has s**t, just have to check the load ratings but a set of Racing Hart CRs or Konig Blatants would look sweet. Or somthing different with 7 spokes.

My only reservation with rims like those mentioned (yes I had to google them) is that they expose a lot of the disc and with 19's or 20's they show up how small the rotors are unless you get a set of after market brakes expose puny brakes which isn't a good look.

that's why I don't want anything bigger than 17.

Stupidly oversized wheels do look s**t and make your car look like a hot wheels car and your brakes small even 18 is on the limit.

XF84.

I love the EL GTs. All 3 sets look good.

Do you still have those black concordes?

I like these Oz Racing SuperTurismo GTs.

I'd get them in 18x8. Only thing I don't like is the OZ Racing text on the rim itself.

I have been watching this thread since it first started, still come to it every now and then for checking out different rims. Finally got a decent couple of photos of mine and havent seen any in this thread yet so I thought I would revive it.

I was looking for a decent/less common rim for my car for ages, when I finally found these. I actually wanted only 18's, but there were none left, so it was 17s, 19's or 20's. Glad I went with 19's in retrospect, although, as a few people have said, it definately highlights the need for bigger brakes!

Looks good man, really suits the red Xr you have them on. How harsh of a ride are they? How do the cost of tyres compare to say 17's?

Cheers

The XR had 16's on it before, and the suspension is the same as it was with the 16's. You can definately notice the difference in harshness, but its nothing over the top. I did the Great Ocean Road with them running in the motor a few weeks ago and they coped with everything they had thrown at them. Full car meant that it hit the guards quite a few times though, but with just me in the car its rare. Just need to lip the guards a bit now.

Tyre price is where it all starts to come apart. I got 2nd handies for $50 a pop just to get them on the car, but newies are expensive. You can't really get name brand tyres for under $200 unless you know someone, and high end stuff gets real expensive, real fast. I found a place that will do Kumho KU31's for $250 each, so thats the road I'll be going down, luckily I only have to replace two at a time!

Nice, I'd like a set in 17 or 18's for my Eb Xr8, but other things need to be done first.

rainoffire, cool. Thanks for the reply. I thought tyres would be pricy.

Cheers
