yea there fairly tight when it comes to mods over here in the land of Oz. The seats r just a crappy autotecnica you can buy thru repco...

pity. I think airbags a more of a danger than good somtimes. But i aint condoning any illegal mods

My cats are gone, i could bolt on a blower and new bucket seats tomorrow if i wanted, just have to pay $300 for ALL mods for the guy to tick a box saying its been done correctly. So basically you can do almost anything as long as its not too loud, can stop within an appropriate distance for the car power and is safe. Good eh

 Actually you would be rather surprised how many mods are legal if within the modified vehicles guidelines, or an engineer signs off on them! I had a funny one a while ago, i had to get an engineer to sign off on an engine swap in my mighty boy, because the engine was more than 10% larger than std ( as per vic roads mod's book! ), even tho the engine bolts in as per std, and all the running gear like gearbox, brakes, struts, master cylinder & so on are exactly the same on the car the engine come from! Engine swap was from 543cc to 800cc! About 40 something % larger capacity! 
Anyway, back on topic, some very sweet rides in there. This summer i plan on getting a new bonnet & repairing my front bar so it looks 100% again. Cheers ToranaGuy
