i dont understand why u would have that numberplate then?..makes me cringe when i see ticky badges on a stock gli,the plate is defs not my cuppa tea...but what ever makes you happy i guess

Dare say they were kept after he sold his old XR6. There are plenty of ppl with mock ups, including myself, and with most your would never know they were. But there argument has been brought up before and everyone has there preferences. SO cringe away, cause no one cares.

Regards :)

dosent look like an el xr6 to me... maybe try getting you facts right before u get up on your high horse.. i was lookin at buying those plates off the some bloke off aff myself,so unless its the same bloke  ... why not use the $500 towards a genuine el xr?, its not like there that expensive... i reckon people would care if i bought FpvGT numberplates for my xr6.

guys guys guys relax!!! lol

Geesh, i miss that look of my car!! It looks totally different to that now!

Anyway, my blue el is a mock up and the plates are off my current ride ba xr6 turbo. lol (picks above)^^^
I have turned my ba into a sleeper and hence why I shifted the plater over to my new mock up
el xr6....Why didnt I buy a genuine el xr6? Well i used to own one back in 2003 but traded that for my ba xr6t but the main reason was i need a sixseater and bought the gli and mocked it up to look like my el xr6 that i once owned....
I hope this clears up any minconception.

Snaken...it seems to me that you are more worried about what ppl are gonna think or say for mock ups but for me tbh i couldnt care less about their opinions its more of an individual being satisfied with their pride and joy and to say that im happy would be an understatement!

yea i took my chill pill lol..i'm all for making you car look how you want and all that..if i had a gli i would put an xr front on it as well. my only problem is with the badging of it, and in your case the dirty big XR2DY4 numberplate :D ... as you know you cant please everyone, but make sure this is as nice as your ba xr

Thanks mate.

I can make the el look as good if not better than the ba but it will never have the balls to keep up with it. :(

Like you said we cant please everyone or even ourselves for that matter but thats ok, like i said in one of my other posts the el has the show and the ba has the go and im happy with that. :)

The bonett on the BA is customised by PHAT CUSTOM KITS in Dandenong and Ron Klik is the man to speak to. It is a fibreglassed bonett with an opening on the xr8 bulge. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks, I seen that scoop bulge on a silver BA XT on Ebay, but you could only get a fibreglass bulge, not one with a scoop.

Im thinking of getting a fibreglass bulge and getting the scoop put in it for my EB.

Gidday TZAKHAMMER and welcome to Fordmods.

That is a nice looking Brock Falcon you have there. I have always liked the body kits on those.

Thanks for your comments guys,

I didnt know that simmons closed down, shame that. I always wanted simmons rims ever since i was a young kid back in high school, this was my favorite car back then, its bob romanos EB Ghia 5.0 with ITB's. so as soon as i got the Brocky i ordered them from sydney.

i love all the mods you guys do on here, im so tempted to do somethings to mine but ive been told to keep it stock. i cant wait for the cruise on the weekend!

btw, does anyone know who does itb's for 6cyl?

mick.

The front bar is going to get more modded so It matchs the front flares.
