The plan is to be a sleeper (dont like EF/EL's with bodykits, especially Ghia's). Some nice wheels and tint are next. When I respray it (original colour) I'll fit the moulds and bumpers from an NL that I wrecked with the provision for the chrome strip. Its got the XR6 motor, so I hope to get a couple of years out of that, then fit a DOHC BA turbo motor. Suspension wise its got lovells superlows front and rear, pedders shortened shocks front and rear and a camber kit. |

Ok.
I know there is a few (surely no-one is still on dial-up nowdays. ) but this is what I took. Here is "The Wifes Car" (I wish it was mine). Thought it was about time I posted up some pics. 1995 EF GHIA V8. Real woodgrain on the doors (not the plastic ones), leather and velour seats, premium sound. The wheels are just a set I got from the wreckers due to the ones on the car when I bought it being cracked right through. Lowered a bit with Lovells and upgraded front sway bar. Handles GREAT!!!

Hi, nice looking car.
Just to let you know, all that woodgrain did not come on the car from factory. If you have real wooden door spears than somebody has made the time to make them as ford did not use real wood on EF onwards. Also all the woodgrain on your dash is a sticker kit you can buy off ebay witch includes, air vents, shifter surround, climate control, trip computer, stereo surround, and the panel that your aerial button is on. |

And, by the looks of the box on the floor, it has new wheel bearings?

Yes and no, the real wooden trims on the doors were use one early ef ghias only, it's quite a light colouredwoodgrain, and sbstantinly stronger way of mounting, I have a pair of rears here. However your right on the ebay sticker kit The LTD grill and plate surrounds a nice touch. They the new seats in there?

Ok...... so no cars came from the factory with all that woodgrain.
Hmmmmm....Who ever did mine with an Ebay sticker kit could make a fortune. Woodgrain (any woodgrain) from an EF/EL pulls nice money on Ebay. Is a perfect job (and I mean perfect). Yes, you can see they are stickers but they are NOT put on by joe in the back yard. Offers for anyone in my area to come and have a look at them. Can anyone tell me what came as woodgrain from the factory on these models?? (interested to see) Joel, Mixed and matched them to get the best feel. Not concerned with the looks due to the seat covers. Plus you have supplied my with another set of seats I can take to get recovered.

Quote: those rims suit it well i reckon I agree. Very Nice. I personally don't like the Fairlanes and LTDs. Always look too long for my liking. Thats why I jumped at the Fairmont with the LTD Grille. Wouldn't mind a set of Concorde Fairlance Rims for mine. I noticed someone on here has a set on their "Lane"...... Looks fantastic. Quote: looks more like a k&n filter service kit to me Spot on. K&N Air Filter fitted when I bought it. Someone loved this car as much as me

I bought them for $500. But had some damage repaired. 3" dish on the rear 2" on the front. There 17" bit smaller than I wanted, but fill the guards really well, and I'm not running spacers. Fit wonderfully. Only thing that really bothers me is there are super lows in the front and to me it still sits to high. |
