nice car, those 18" or 19" wheels?

paint yer black side strips red mate (same colour as car), would look very clean...

I would also tint the rear taillights a bit (I know its wanky but it would match your car)

18" Heh black strip has it over red if u ask me

Yeah black strip looks really nice, tint the tail lights and your repeaters a couple of shades, and paint your bumper strips black like the side, i think it would really set your car off, looks gorgeous mate

This will be my sleeper Grandpa car. Have done the BBM convo, EL computer, and a few other bits and pieces. Next up is the lumpiest Wade regrind cam going for an auto without a stall. One day it might get a bit of help from a hairdryer and a T56 but that will have to wait till the missus is off her P's and has a car of her own.

92 EB Fairmont

Long list of things I want to do, starting with clear lens indicators and side repeaters. New carpet and centre console, thinking of adapting an EL one in with a bit of stuffing around. Handbrake conversion to floor, EL diff to get the handbrake separated from the calipers. Obviously it needs to lose 2 inchs of height. Am thinking about running the red stripe around the bumper instead of the chrome ones it has already and the red 4.0 Overhead Cam side badges. Will be keeping the XR6 rims to fit with the 'grandpa car going to eat your v8 commodore' theme. Will also go to a 3.45:1 diff eventually. Oh and I definately am thinking very seriously about Bens BA headlight convo but can only find the all chrome BA lens and not the tricky looking black with chrome highlight lens. And maybe even a BA- BF motor one day down the track.

I can always say its the typical falcon gin sag... as for the lights and the stripes, who would notice other than someone from here? Besides that EB 2 Fairmonts had 15 inch mags, albeit not the same design as the XR6, they were mags none the less, and my XR6 ones are factory Ford and not aftermarket. They could well have been fitted from new for all anyone knows.

Looks tough man. You can get new ANZ caps for the wheels now. I've updated mine.

Cheers

I like the bar graft on the front of that thing, how hard was that to do and what did it set you back?
