I NEED to know what those rims are lol. I've watched his Youtube vids but he never seems to reply to anyway asking about the wheels.

The 'Mont certainly looks much better with the Black rims man, I'm always impressed at how clean it is!

Haha, nah I don't know the dude personally, but did see the car out and around on the odd occasion before it was sold. Had these photo's saved from a while back, good for some inspiration :P

From memory, even the owner didn't know what the wheels were exactly lol. I remember reading somewhere they had Lenso centre caps, but they definitely weren't Lenso wheels. Mint looking wheels though, suits the whole look real well, and the amount of dish is quite sexy

Cheers! I'm pretty happy with the black wheels, gave the Fairmont a whole new look :)

Here is an updated pic of my EL Fairmont wagon.
It was previously owned by an elderly couple and it only has 165,000 k's on it.
It was 100% stock standard when I bought it but so far under my ownership (5 months) I have put the NL Fairlane cornering lamps in - wired them up as driving lights. Replaced the crappy original EL Fairmont wheels with these ED/EF Futura rims, 1" lowering blocks in the rear to level out the ride height. EL XR6 snorkel, K&N panel filter. Put in a new grey carpeted dash mat, EL Ghia carpeted kick panels, NL Fairlane T Bar handle with chrome button and NL Fairlane chrome door handles. NL Fairlane clear side repeater indicators. I replaced the electric aerial mast. Added a Uniden UHF CB radio. Modified the reverse lights. Sprayed the inner grey section of the grille to match the rest of the car. Replaced various globes and a few more things.
I also put fresh oil and fresh coolant in it as soon as I got it home from the car yard. Still more to do to it as time progresses and money becomes available.

Cheers mate.
At first I wired them upto the headlights but when I put the high beam on it would cancel out the cornering lamps so I wired them upto the parkers and now they come on when ever I want them to. I have them wired up via a switch. I boughtt a driving light wiring loom from Supercheap for $20 which was all made up with relay, Inline fuse, switch etc then I wired them up like ordinary driving lights.

Mechanically perfect. There is only one thing that is currently niggling me at the moment and that is a slight creak that comes from the dash plastics (I'll take a look at that tomorrow and see if I can rectify it). It needs the air con regassed as I used it all the time during the hot summer we had here in Mildura.

It also came with the factory Ford perspex cargo barrier and the Ford bonnet and headlight protectors.
I still have the full set of 5 original EL Fairmont alloy wheels too.

The EF Fairmont wheels and the EL Fairmont wheels are both crap. I don't know what Ford was thinking by putting crappy looking wheels on such a nice car. I would like to find a nice set of EL Ghia wheels one day to put on my wagon.

Lighting position covered it up I guess... haha, nah she's not in that good nick. If you look closely, you'll see scratches, marks, fading, and a miss-matching mirror. But, in the end I guess it scrubbs up alright.

Anyway, couldn't help but notice that you want to wire up some cornering lamps. If you're interested, I'v got a kind of step by step how-to with pics. They turn on with all headlight settings as well as off.

Cheers
