Very nice man. Is that a factory V8 Fairmont wagon? If it is, hold on to it as there were only a couple hundred made from memory.

I had one once, sold it and it was one of my biggest regrets.

{Thanks bud,

Yeah it is factory V8... Unfortunately cooked my motor the other week so swapped out another low Km 5.0 into the old girl.. I gave my old block away that had the matching numbers does that matter? should i get that back? Never mind..

Plan to bring her back to it's former glory slowly.... pretty well everything has been replaced new as far as running gear goes, she had been run into the ground when i first got it..

only fairly standard mods.. genie extractors, cat back exhuast, lowered front struts and reset leaf springs to suit. couple of little exterior mods... wouldnt mind a gt front spoiler, darker tint,3.45 lsd, gt steering, leather seats and fix up some small dings on the body.. some new wheels and that should do me :) happy for ideas.. thats why I like this site did the front grille mod today and it turned out great!

I did read there were only a few made, funnily enough theres a silver one in the next suburb in really good nick but your right you don't see them very often.. people are mythed when they here the rumble of the 8 coming out of the old wagon :)

cheers.

{I can see your regret Alfy ...... nice vehicle mate!

Shipo... I just used a dremel with a small grinding bit.. it kinda melted most of it away fumes didnt smell too good haha... I followed the outta lines you can see them fairly faint then put a fine file to finish it off.... it came out great but Ill be prepping it up and painting it to get all the little marks out but it's good enough until I get around to it.

hope that helps somewhat.
