Wicksy, I'm actually a Rockyite now (finishing off an engineering degree) but I do travel back every once in a while... got a digi camera mate? Post some pics of your ride... oh and the speedway? I vowed I'd never go there again after about three times they couldn't get it right, lights turning off, track stuffed (some drivers pulled out of it due to breaking stubs) etc: But yeah... how'd you lose the license mate ? I've been stung twice there myself... :?

Here are some of my xr8 run around...

she is a series 2, 5 speed manual, and in immaculate condition, super lows and koni adjustables, dba slotted and drilled rotors all round, and elgt intake, injectors, and computer to make about 200kw (160rwkw), and she still gets over 500k's on the hwy for a tank 8-)

She will be coming up for sale in about 4-6 weeks so anyone interested let me know, this is one of the best around, must see to appreciate...

Here are some more photos

U get what u pay for in this case, yeh they are pricey but they're aussie made, 3 piece, hand assembled etc etc etc
costs are in the range of $700-$800 per rim retail in one of the 5 standard colours, fully polished add another $150 per rim, they can custom colour match also. I did alright and got mine when they first came out, now everyone is chasing them and prices have shot-up, saved myself about $800. Would still buy them regardless, these are my 5th set of simmons so i am a bit of a fan.
