Theyre 17x8 and cost me $600 with tyres.

I think ive fixed the rears by bending back the rear guard lip with bull-nosed pliers, the front tyres have done most the work for me, just gotta get a right-angled pair of pliers for better leverage to bend it more.

when ever you lower a car you should roll the front guard. if you dont you risk the wheel grabbing the gaurd and bending it out.
rear guards dont need rolling until you start to get to 255 wide tires +.

Ive got 235/45/17 on the back & its only on 'lows' and its hitting the guard.

Started to make a burnt patch around 15mm wide on the edge of the tyre.

how the fcuk does that hit the gaurds, it's higher than a kite. I never had any issues with my EF, and it was a fair bit lower than yours. Are they the correct offset ?

They came off an ED xr6 and he said they were eseries offset. I guess i should measure them although the offset changes with wider rims...

I'm rather suprised as well. I have 17x8's with 235/45 17's all round, kings lows, and with my gas tank full, petrol tank full, boot full of stereo & crap, and a load of passengers in the car, i still don't get scrubbin on the guards. I do however, find the car rides on it's bump stops when loaded that heavy, lol.

In the front, i have not lipped the guards, and no scrubbin. I am however, about 2mm from the tyre scrubbin the grease nipples on the upper bj's.

The latest rides posted to this thread are indeed very sweet.

Cheers

ToranaGuy
