If I were to get cams, I'd get the stage3 pair. I'd still like to keep bottom end torque.

Yeah I would spend a lot more time on this forum if it flowed a bit more in regards to fg mods it seems to have hit a bit off a stalemate atm.....that's why I'm across a few. But as soon as I do some more mods to my xr6t I'll post something up.

Yeah had a good run with that car loved the power and the sound but yeah wanted to go faster and do more mods then realised I was getting up around the 50thou klms and usually I only keep my cars two years or 50thou ks to limit my financial losses (I buy my cars outright). And couldn't bring myself to spend anymore money on it so I sold it to a young fella in toowoomba and bought a black fg2 xr6t ute which sits in the garage most the time now cause I have a new ranger work truck.

So just slowly modding the new rig when I can be bothered.
What about you bro? You have a new girl if I am not mistaken.

smart move turning over the NA XR6 for an XR6T, they are a beautiful machine... im sure you havent been disappointed with that decision.

I cant remember which car i had when we last spoke, i think i did still have the AUII XR6 ute. Since then my old man bought it off me and i upgraded to a "09 FG XT. Dads done alright with the XR6, getting it back to a reasonable condition.
but more importantly the FG is getting there... SSL front/SSSL rear king springs with Monroe GT Shocks all round, Chrysler 300C 18" wheels and Growler intake. Apart from that just stock piling audio gear, some turbo brakes (which i still need rotors for), 20" rims, etc, etc... so thats about it for now...
external trans cooler and a few other goodies are coming soon too... needs it before something even worse happens to the trans :?

Not really the right thread for this question mate......but I will help you out - all true and correct the issue comes about due to an exhaust sensor on or near the cat once it has been removed and re installed on the new exhaust you will get an error msg on the dash - if you want to do exhaust you need to get it tuned at the same time.

Cheers.

Nice ute mate! You should start a dedicated build thread.
Not that common the octane utes.
