Anyone know any websites for Skyline bodykits? Im looking at getting an R34... i know it might be a 'Ricer' but hey seriously, fuel prices these days, who cares if its a ricer or not.. i'd swap a 4 or 5 litre motor for a 2.5litre turbo anyday if its gonna pull more KW and use less fuel.. So, if anyone has any info as to how much fuel they use? is it like 10Litres to 100k's? and websites for kits?

I'm going to assume that you've got $15k + for one..
Fuel - up to 16l/100km city driving, and that not if you're booting it everywhere, although the GTR TT uses less fuel than the single T. I wont comment on the kits. I'd just spray it black, and throw some 19" white 5 spoke race spec rims on. |

i think a skyline forum or boostcruising or something would yield more/better results on this...there's probs thousands of skylines forums if you look on google

not R34 but they'd be able to point in the right direction
www.r31skylineclub.com also www.skylinesaustralia.com and yes these will chew through just as much petrol as a Falcon |

lol 17yrs old....R34 Skyline.....wants better fuel economy.....bahaha
If you want to spend 30k plus go for it. Hopefully you go broke from spending money on insurance and fuel before you wrap i around a poll though. A 17yr old with an r34 GTS-T skyline's like sending lambs to a slaughter house. |

If you want to go fast with less fuel, best bet would be a motorcycle. A skyline will drink a fair bit of petrol. If you are worried about fuel consumption, get a hybrid or even a 2L non turbo car...such as a civic.

I have a drift car that i am about to sell. Its only a 2.1l 4cyl turbo.
IT IS NOT GOOD ON FUEL!!! Just in normal cruising it averages 15-18l per 100klms. Thats worse than alot of V8's. Slightly excited driving gives 220k's to the 60 litre tank, which costs $100 to fill. My falcon beats it every day of the week in fuel economy. Why the hell do you think a skyline will be better??? I fell into the stupid trap of thinking they are better on fuel when i bought the heap of s**t 3 years ago. Don't make the same mistake.

Not the same thing but i used to own a 300zx used to go like hell it used no fuel at all and i didnt baby it anywhere. The missus owns a lancer turbo goes harder than my turbo EF and uses half the fuel while doing it.

Mate, if you want fuel efficiency, your gonna compromise power. So what the hell are you thinking getting a skyline. The r34t's go well but they'll chew through more fuel than an NA falcon. I think you should read about how turbos work first, then if you understand the concept and still want efficiency, buy yourself an echo.
