Thanks guys. I'm hanging to get it all finished and back together. The front bar is sprayed now but the rear still needs a bit more prep before colour. Fingers crossed that it's all sprayed by next weekend and I can start putting it all back together.

Timmeh, the rims are speedy longchamps with the face of them machined. I wasnt a fan of the chromed ones, but these stand out more than the silver ones without being over the top.

edit: Gallery is being gay, here's another shot:

they're not that gold colour, it's just a long exposure under an incandescent light (with blue LED keyring highlights while exposing :) )

Front bar is on! :D Hopefully I can get rego in the next few days when I get the rear bar back on then I'll pull the front back off, spray around the radiator black where you can see it's still white, mesh up the holes in the bar and fit the new headlights with HID kit.

Pics with and without ford badge in the grille - I think it definitely looks better with the badge.

This grille is only temporary, I haven't had much luck making one that looks good so I'm getting a guy with some experience modding bodykits to make me one.

It's starting to take shape :D

That's the idea :)

I got the rear bar on today, still waiting on the thin panel that goes between the tail lights and bumper, side skirts and bonnet scoop.
Here's a few more pics, more representative of the actual colour (although the first one shows how the colour shifts all over the shop in different light!

Damn straight! It looks enough like a VS commodore front bar as it is without putting a HSV grille in as well :P

Just for you though...

Image

Looks more like the pontiac GTO grille I think...

Yeah I've got the EL GT wing but I still don't know if I'll fit it. It is a bit too chunky, but so is the rest of the kit...
I'll paint it up and see how I feel at the time, but I'm not drilling any holes just yet.

Walkinshaw, check out my website

cant' say i'm a fan of it... a lot of flaming going on in the non-flaming area :|
either way, my opinion may change with the rest of the kit fitted up and the rims back on.
hard to judge when its 1/2 done.

i do however think the side skirts will look awesome :P
