saw something on thursday that every one on here says can't happen.
saw an au with turbo blades from an ea fitted to the front with no spacers or machining. now everyone here says e series won't fit au and vis versa, i have seen au mags fit straight on to an e series at a wreckers i know very well. i know this because it was my ef we did a trial fitting on. please explain, i do know about the different offsets but what i have seen contradicts this.

E series rims will fit on an AU B series as the offset allows the wheel clearance from the uprights. You will notice on an AU that the wheel sticks out past the guard. You are actually increasing the wheel track by 60mm.
AU offset will bolt onto an E series and whill rotate on the rear. They will bolt up on the front but will hit on the suspension. You are reducing the track on an E series by 60mm. |

There's an AU near my place with a set of NF/L series Concords on it. As SWC said, they hang out past the guards quite noticeably.
Just looks wrong IMO, I keep meaning to get a photo of it.
