WOW! I've always wondered what happens to these cars once the next model comes out, usualy they just end up rotting in a back yard waiting for somone like you to come along and give it some TLC. :)
Glad to see you have resored it back to its former glory!

Top work!

Welcome to Fordmods Scorcher.

It is great to see such a well know car grace these pages.

I note you are in Sydney, and recommend you check out the NSW Cruise Thread. We meet every Friday night at Liverpool KKs between Subway and Oporto.

You will be most welcome.

Looking forward to further updates.

Cheers
BenJ

Thanks for the welcome. I need to point out to you guys that the orange and white 2 door is not the Sony Scorcher. It was built after Scorcher by the same body builder Paul Bennett. He built it for some guy who didnt win Scorcher through the Street Machine mag giveaway promo and wanted an E series 2 door. He lost interest in the car and on sold it. It took quite a while for the car to be built. It has a turbo six unlike Scorchers V8 and rumour is that the car is not engineered for the 2 door conversion due to the change of rules and the length of time to complete the car. The car is mistaken for a rebuilt Scorcher all the time........................

yep it a different car. It was for sale not so long ago by the bloke that finished the project. Not too sure if it sold. It is owned by some bloke who runs a pewrformance shop in or near Newcastle

I have kept in touch with Street Machine magazine in peticular one of the writers who basically built the car from start to finish. I have told him he can do the story on it as long as its front cover. I have also suggested to SM magazine that they should do a reunion on all the giveaway / build cars that they have done. All the cars in one spot at the one time. That would be awsome.

I can confirm that the 2 tone vehichle does reside in the huntervalley, I beleive it's owned by extreme performance at morriset.

Any info would be great thanks

Contact Paul Madden- 0408 236 355. I can verify they are a high quality kit, and I'm very happy with the job he did on my front bar.

Great to see the Scorcher still going strong!

Thanks mate, thats what i wanted to know. Cheers
